Reggiana Riduttori RF2 and RF5 negative brakes — hydraulically-released, spring-applied multi-disc parking brakes, used with our planetary winch and slewing drives.

- RF2 series: 6 models (RF2/7 to RF2/60), static torque 60–600 Nm, mass 11–12 kg
- RF5 series: 8 models (RF5/21 to RF5/130, plus RFF5 variants), static torque 180–1360 Nm, mass 21–29 kg
- Minimum opening pressure: 4–5 bar up to 27–32 bar, depending on model
- Maximum opening pressure: 250 bar (40 bar recommended)
- Oil: ISO VG 32; oil change at 100 hours initially, then every 1500–2000 hours or annually
- Function: Fail-safe negative brake — engages automatically on loss of hydraulic pressure
